This was another beautiful day on the ocean. Slick calm not even a swell. With a tip from my good friend Capt George Strate, we headed for a small ledge south of EF for some live minnows. His tip was right on! We boated between 100-125 Spanish Sardines and Cigars. With the water temp back up in the 60's we decided to try one of my best places at EF.
That was the right decision. We were in the fish from the onset and limited on snapper and landed 2 nice grouper within an hour. So we decided to take a shot at sea bass. There was a ledge inshore about 2 miles we thought we would try. They were there! After landing over 60 up to 2.5 pounds we decided to have a fish cleaning class at Mayport Marine. What a great day. Tight Lines!
