Another perfect day on the water. 1-2 ft from the SW and 70 degree water. What more can you ask? BB was our first stop for live bait. We managed around a 100 or so in the small to medium size range but we needed some larger ones. It was off to the north and KC culverts. They were there. We topped off the well and headed futher north up to HH.
On our first stop and the first down we were rewarded with a nice 18 # grouper and several other throwbacks. From there we struggled most of the AM and had only 2 grouper and 2 snapper to account for our efforts. So we went to a nearby wreck and rebaited. It was after 1 PM so we headed south into RL to a special SEA DANCER #. Once on top of the spot we drifted the place instead of anchoring. The snapper were red hot, we had 8 really nice ones in just a few minutes. There were several that got away. Final Count 10 snapper,3 grouper 1 flounder and 1 seatrout. What the trout was doing 16 miles offshore , only he knows!! TIGHT LINES!!
