After a long stent on the beach the weather finally gave us a shot at getting offshore. This was an absolutely beautiful day on the water. Lite breeze from the east, just ripples. Conditions were near perfect for fishing the bottom.
We managed to sibiki up around 125 or so cigars and sardines. We tried one place at EF and wound up with 1 grouper around 15# and 1 flounder. Kind of slow so we headed for warmer water to the south.
The first place was on the north end of CH. No joy, not even a sea bass. Then we headed to MG where we had 4 nice snapper to 16# and lost several others. It was getting late so we tried one more place at PM. We caught 1 more grouper and snapper and lost 3 other nice fish. Final count 5 Snapper 2 Grouper and 1 flounder. This was a fun day, I like'm like that !! TIGHT LINES
